Flame Detector Cleaning Kit (FID Kit)
Use this kit to clean both the jet tip and collector. It includes: three jet reamers, 0.016", 0.019" and 0.024"; a mini drill bit 0.0102"; two wire minibrushes, brass and stainless steel; and a dual-ended handle.

Fine Wire Kit
Includes a pin vise and 30 stainless steel wires, 10 each of 0.006", 0.010" and 0.020". Cannot be used to clean 26s gauge needles (see #76620 for needle cleaning kit).

Column Change kit
For hooking up packed columns in the GC lab; also useful for tubing connections. Includes three ratchet wrenches, 7/16", 1/2" and 9/16", one Imp® tubing cutter and one roll of PTFE tape, 1/2" x 520".

Glass Tubing Cutter
Cutter scores glass tubing up to 1.5" in diameter. Hardened steel cutting wheel.

Deluxe Injection Port Cleaning Kit
This kit is designed for cleaning all GC injection ports, including those in Shimadzu instruments. Includes three stainless steel brushes, 5mm, 1/4" and 3/8", and one scraper for removing septum residue.

1/16'' PTFE Ferrules
PTFE ferrules have an upper temperature limit of 250 deg. C. Ferrules have precision-drilled IDs so there are no mold imperfections. The one-piece design does not require a back ferrule. PTFE is completely inert and does not stick to glass. Ferrules come 10/pk except as noted. Please note for all ferrules: 0.3mm ID ferrules fit 0.18mm ID and narrower capillary columns 0.4mm ID ferrules fit 0.25mm ID capillary columns 0.5mm ID ferrules fit 0.32mm ID capillary columns 0.8mm ID ferrules fit 0.53mm ID capillary columns "Straight" ferrules are used for 1/16" OD tubing.

Digital Flowmeters
The 7-Gas Digital Flowmeter measures gas flow completely electronically. It is accurate, with NIST traceability, versatile and reliable.

Rotameters
Rotameters are adjustable, direct-reading flowmeters. Flow is indicated by the amount a ball rises in a stream of gas. Each Rotameter is calibrated for a particular gas, with ±5% accuracy; Repeatability is ±0.25%. Flow tubes are 65 mm long and have a maximum pressure rating of 200psi. They can be panel mounted as is, or used on a bench top with the optional stand. The Triple Rotameter is especially useful for FIDs and is calibrated for either He or N2 as the carrier. Gas flow of 1/10th the maximum flow is necessary to raise the indicating ball. Fittings are 1/8" female NPT.

1/16'' Graphite Ferrules
Ferrules are made from 100% high-purity graphite with an upper temperature limit of 450 deg. C. Ferrules are precision formed with a flash-free ID and may be reused if not overtightened. One-piece design does not require a back ferrule. 1/16" ferrules are used by most GCs, except Perkin-Elmer which uses 1/8" ferrules. 1/16'' Vespel Ferrules
Vespel® ferrules are made from 100% DuPont polyimide. The upper temperature limit is 350 deg. C. Ferrules have precision-drilled IDs so there are no mold imperfections. The one-piece design does not require back ferrules. Vespel ferrules are fairly hard and tend to seal permanently to the column. 1/16" ferrules are used by most GCs, except Perkin-Elmer which uses 1/8" ferrules. 5mm - 6mm Septa
General purpose septa are available in various formulations including 100% silicone, and PTFE- or polyimide-coated silicone. These are good for routine use. Septa are 5 or 6mm in diameter, as noted, and 3mm thick. Septa 77® is a high-quality septum suitable for most applications. Maximum temperature setpoint is 300 deg. C, except in 17mm injection ports, 270 deg. C. Puresep T(TM) is a silicone-based septum coated on one side with PTFE. The PTFE is bonded to the silicone with an inner layer of polyimide. Maximum temperature setpoint is 225 deg. C. Microsep F-138 is a general purpose septum made of silicone faced on one side with PTFE. Maximum temperature setpoint is 200 deg.C.

Hamilton 1 ml 1001RN Syringe
Gastight® syringe has a Teflon®-tipped plunger, for use with gases and liquids. Removable needle is 22 gauge, 2'' in length, with point style 2 (sharp).
